Nokia N97 Mini, X6 & X3 announced

Today Nokia announced three new phones at Nokia Wolrd 09. Let’s start with the N97 mini, which is a slimmed down version of the original N97 released a few months ago:

The Nokia N97 mini will be available next month for an estimated retail price of EUR450 before taxes and carriers subsidies. It has 8gb of internal memory (upgradable via microSD) a 3.2″ touchscreen and slide out qwerty keyboard all packed in a 14.2mm thin body.A 5Mpx camera with Carl Zeiss lens and LED flash is also on board.

The X6 looks like the sucessor of the eXpress Music launch quite a fewmonths ago. The hadrware looks really nice andlooking at the video it seems to have a capacitive touch screen!. It will retail in Q42009 for €459 without contract. Here are the specs:

Nokia Booklet 3G mini-laptop priced at €570

Nokia’s CEO just announced the European price of the Booklet 3G Mini-laptop during Nokia World 09 this morning. €570 should be the price without any carriers contract but Nokia said that it should be heavily subsidized if telco operators decide to offer the laptop with one. Verizon is leaking like the Titanic lately. Here’s a little summary of today’s rumors :

First PhoneArena got their hands on a picture highlighting the existence of an HTC Android phone called the HTC Desire (6200) coming to Verizon.

The second leak comes from BlackBerryOS claims to have a Verizon internal document that says that the Storm 2 will be released on October 14, the LG BL40 Chocolate Touch in Mid-October and the Morotla Sholes in October.
