HTC LEO/Firestone to have capacitive screen ?

More HTC rumors are coming our way these day. About the HTC Leo/Firestone (it’s still not confirmed that the Leo = Firestone though) this time. is claiming to have the specifications of this mystery device.

Quad-band GSM/EDGE connectivity
Dual-band HSDPA 900/2100 MHz
4.3″ WVGA (480 x 800) capacitive touch screen
320Mb of RAM + 512MB of ROM
Light and Proximity sensors & Accelerometer
5Mx autofocus camera with 2X LED flash
MicroSD card
3.5mm jack
1230 mAh battery
121 x 67 x 11 millimetres

Real or Fake ? You decide. For my part I’m having my doubts. If you remember a few months ago the following specs leaked : htcdevicespecs

The Firestone aka Star is/was supposed to have a 3,6″ screen and a SnapDragon chipset clocked @ 600Mhz. Those Leo specs look to be closer to the HTC Toth IMO. Other than that I know for a fact that HTC may be working on a capacitve WM6.5 device to be released this fall (this info came straight out of a Samsung rep I met more than a month ago). So the Leo and Firestone a 2 diffrent devices.

HTC Qinin and Sense UI rumors

One more HTC rumor for today. This time from L3v5y over at Modaco. Another unknow HTC codename has benn droped..the Qinin wich should sport the new Sense UI on Windows Mobile this time. Here’s what he said :

HTC Sense UI which debuted on the HTC Hero is set to come on Windows Mobile (HTC have already announced this). It will be implemented as Manila 3.0, and will come on the HTC Qinin (though it may come around before then).

Nothing is known about the Qinin, apart from it’s mythical, magical, and what’s on it won’t work on the Topaz. (and it’s WVGA)

The Manila 2.5 screenshots floating around are heading towards Sense UI, but aren’t the same thing. Manila 2.5 will come on the HTC Leo towards the end of this year, with the Qinin expected to follow some time next year.
