Sprint HTC Arrive aka HTC 7 Pro announced. Launching March 20th for $199.99

The first CDMA Windows Phone 7 handset finally has a release date. Sprint has just announced the HTC Arrive which is be essentially the CDMA version of the HTC 7 Pro already released in some European countries. The Arrive will be available on March 20th for $199 after mail-in rebate on a 2 year contract. Sprint HTC 7 Pro aka HTC Arrive to be announced tomorrow

Sprint’s branded version of the HTC 7 Pro is apparently confirmed to be named the HTC Arrive based on the fact that if you type www.sprint.com/arrive you are redirected to a coming soon page and not a generic 404 error. The HTC Arrive name already popped up late last month in a UPSTO filing so it is now fairly safe to think that this is what we can expect to see unveiled tomorrow.

HTC Arrive Windows Phone 7 handset coming to Sprint ?

HTC has registered the HTC Arrive product name in the US last week and according to Engadget’s tipster this is a Windows Phone 7 handset headed to Sprint this year. So there you have it folks. There’s nothing much else to say here other than wonder if this is a brand new unannounced product or just a re-naming of the HTC 7 Pro which has just been released in Europe and has yet to be seen in America where it was first unveiled and supposed to launch.
