First HTC Radar video

Looks like T-Mobile Germany had a little Mango event earlier today (edit: it’s actually TMO’s booth at the IFA event..) where the HTC Omega Mango handset was on display. As you will see in the video below the device looks identical to the renders we saw last week (besides the old Windows Phone logo). The device apparently features a 3.8″ SLCD screen and only 8GB of internal storage. The handset shown in the video is running a pre-production firmware but you will notice that HTC has apparently ported its HTC Watch video streaming service to Windows Phone 7. The German T-Mobile version will also ship with the Navigon GPS navigation application pre-installed :

HTC Eternity / HTC Titan / PI39110 hits the FCC

The rumored HTC Eternity aka HTC PI39110 just passed the FCC certification one day ahead of it’s supposed official unveiling in Europe. There isn’t much else to say here other than wait for the official announcement and hopefully my hands on impressions if I manage to get close to one tomorrow (if the event turns out to be HTC’s Mango devices unveiling). If everything goes as planned the HTC Omega should also make an official appearance.

HTC Omega spotted in the wild

Similar to last year Samsung Omnia 7 leak somebody in North Africa (Algeria) seems to have gotten his hands on an HTC Omega just a few weeks before its official launch. Besides the pictures there’s no word on the device’s specifications so take what you read on other sites with a heavy pinch of salt and remember not to believe anything unless it’s on the device manufacturer’s website. More picture after the break:

First Render of the HTC Omega Windows Phone 7 Mango handset

Here’s what is supposedly the first render of the HTC Omega Windows Phone 7 handsets that will most probably be unveiled on September 1st. I personally don’t really like the design (looks like a small HTC Flyer) and from the looks of it the screen seems to be rather small (3.7 or 3.8″ and SLCD). The device also seem to feature a front facing camera just like the Samsung SGH-i937and probably several other Mango devices. On the hardware specification front there’s no info yet so we can only speculated that it will feature a Qualcomm MSM8255 inside (or MSM7230) and a camera sensor of either 5Mpix or 8Mpix.

HTC to announce its new Windows Phone 7 Mango handsets on September 1st ?

HTC has recently announced a public event taking place in London September 1st title “Join Us To See What’s Next”. At first glance this may look like one more Android related gathering but Microsoft UK’s Facebook page has just recently been updated today with a mention of this same exact event. This obviously makes us all believe that Instead of and Android focus night party this one may very well be one of the first official unveiling of HTC’s new batch of Windows Phones running Mango which are still rumored to be the MSM7230 powered HTC Ignite, HTC Prime and MSM8255 powered HTC Eternity.

HTC Eternity and HTC Omega cases already being sold

The rumored HTC Eternity and HTC Omega Window Phone 7 handsets already have third-party cases available in China (as reported by Pocketnow but without any source link so I did a simple 5 second search on Google and landed the product pages which I link at the at of the story after the break). The HTC Eternity is rumored to be HTC’s upcoming flagship Windows Phone device while the HTC Omega should be successor to the Mozart. One thing to keep in mind though is that those cases are not proof of the existence of the device because Chinese cases manufacturers often start cranking out products simply based on guesstimates and rumors sometimes just to make a quick buck. More Pictures after the break:
