The first Windows Phone 8 phablet has finally been made official today at Nokia World in Abu Dhabi in the form of the Nokia Lumia 1520 that we have already seen in the flesh in several leaks throughout the past months. First let’s get this out of the way: The Nokia Lumia 1520 looks gigantic. I obviously never had any hands on time with one yet but based on the videos and pictures released this 6″ screen monster is most definitely too big for most users out there.

Here comes the first “hands on” images and first hand specification of the first Windows Phone phablet namely the Nokia Lumia 1520. As you can see in the pictures below the Lumia 1520 is a huge handset thanks to its gigantic 6″ 1080P screen (most probably IPS LCD) which makes the Sony Xperia Z1 aka aka Honami next to it look like a tiny phone. The 1520′s design is a mix between the Lumia 925 which has the same camera protuberating on the back and the 920/1020 albeit a lot thinner.

The new Quad-Core Krait with Adreno 330 GPU powered devices are obviously still unknown but as I said last week the S800 is currently the only SoC that could potentially support a 41MP sensor like the one supposedly found in the soon to be announced Nokia EOS.
