Samsung releases Allshare DLNA application, RSS reader and Text messages settings add-on for Windows Phone 7

Samsung has released 3 new Windows Phone 7 apps / add-on for its line of Windows Phone today. The most interesting one is the Allshare DLNA application that is already present on most of its high-end Android handset. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to work on my Samsung Omnia 7 running the Mango RC1 firmware but I sure hope that it won’t be restricted to its new Windows Phone 7.5 handsets (Samsung Focus S, Samsung Focus Flash and their European version) unlike HTC’s Media connected App which works on all of the company’s Windows Phones once they are updated to the retail Mango Firmware.

The second one is a relatively nice Google Reader app so nothing really ground breaking there. Finally there’s also a new settings add-on (similar to the High Fidelity Positioning one released a few days ago) which meant to replace unicode (2byte) characters in message with a similar alphabet character and support services that broadcast messages for disasters and advertisement (spam) in sms. Also note that the Now hub was updated earlier today.

Hi, why it doesn’t launch with the Omnia 7? And Aldo bot listes in the Samsung zone?
