First HTC Radar video

Looks like T-Mobile Germany had a little Mango event earlier today (edit: it’s actually TMO’s booth at the IFA event..) where the HTC Omega Mango handset was on display. As you will see in the video below the device looks identical to the renders we saw last week (besides the old Windows Phone logo). The device apparently features a 3.8″ SLCD screen and only 8GB of internal storage. The handset shown in the video is running a pre-production firmware but you will notice that HTC has apparently ported its HTC Watch video streaming service to Windows Phone 7. The German T-Mobile version will also ship with the Navigon GPS navigation application pre-installed :

Navigon GPS Navigation application for Windows Phone 7.5 Mango announced

Navigon GPS navigation which was already available only to German Windows Phone7 users on T-Mobile is now finally going to be launch globally on the platform with a new updated application specifically designed to take advantage of Windows Phone 7.5 Mango. This new application will feature the Reality Scanner (augmented Reality) and direct access to the user’s contact list :

“NAVIGON’s premium navigation app soon will be available for Windows Phone 7 users. The app includes many signature features that have made NAVIGON’s apps successful on Android devices and the iPhone, including on-board maps, spoken turn-by-turn directions, visual lane guidance, live traffic information and rerouting, among many other features. NAVIGON’s new app runs on Windows Phone 7.5 and also takes advantage of new features made available to developers with this new release. These features include the augmented reality function Reality Scanner, which provides an instant and effortless way of identifying nearby destinations while on foot; an option to select address information directly from the phone’s contact list; and the ability to save a favorite or home address as a shortcut on the start screen.”

HTC Eternity / HTC Titan / PI39110 hits the FCC

The rumored HTC Eternity aka HTC PI39110 just passed the FCC certification one day ahead of it’s supposed official unveiling in Europe. There isn’t much else to say here other than wait for the official announcement and hopefully my hands on impressions if I manage to get close to one tomorrow (if the event turns out to be HTC’s Mango devices unveiling). If everything goes as planned the HTC Omega should also make an official appearance.
