Microsoft announces 13 Xbox Live games for Windows Phone 7

Microsoft has just announced (or re-announced depending on your definition of announcing..) 13 new Xbox Live enabled games for Windows Phone 7 on top of the ones that where announced back at E3 and still haven’t been released. The most notable one is undoubtedly Kinectimals Mobile which seems to be the first WP7 Xbox Live title to support Augmented Reality. Gravity Guy also seems to be the first multiplayer game to launch on Xbox Live for Windows Phone. Anyway, hit the break for a full description of some of the titles and several screenshots.

More Fujitsu IS12T release date speculation

Many are still wondering when the first Windows Phone Mango handset will be publicly available but as of right now nobody can really give a clear answer other than “When OEMs and Carriers are ready”. According to Japan’s KDDI carrier, the Fujitsu IS12T is set to launch in September but as it’s often the case with these kind of product pages things can be changed at any time. You also have to keep in mind that the IS12T will only be available in Japan.

There’s no denying though that we are getting closer to the begging of the roll out and everybody’s still eager to see what the other OEMs have in their secret stash. You can check out the Fujitsu IS12T hardware specifications here.

Windows Phone Mango application submission starting next week: Here’s how it works

As previously announced by Microsoft, third-party developers will be able to start submitting the Mango version of their Window phone 7 application on August 22th. All that’ is needed in most cases is a simple recompile of their code and this will enable the app to fast resume and leverage some of the new Mango OS improvements. Whet will happen then has now been detailed by Microsoft just in case you were wondering how the NoDo and Mango versions will co-exist in the Marketplace:
