Windows Phone 7.5 Mango launching next month in Japan?

According to Ina at All things D the Fujitsu IS12T, which is the first Mango handset announced, will be available to Japanese customer on KDDI early next month. No source is sited at all so let’s be cautious and hope that it is indeed true because Fujitsu’s official word during the device’s unveiling on July 27th was that the IS12T would launch in Setp/Oct.

The second bit of “info” is that Windows Phone 7 Mango will launch based on the OEMs and carriers’ own timeline:

Leaked video of Nokia Windows phone 7 handsets emerges: Looks totally fake

Ready for some nice & leaky fake looking stuff? As you will see after the break there’s a video supposedly showing renders of some unknown/unannounced Windows Phone 7 handsets from Nokia.But the issue here is that it looks totally fake. First thing that looks highly suspicious is that most of the live images used are from previous Microsoft promo videos and shots from the Microsoft Office Labs Future Vision 2019 video and other Nokia ads. You also have the early renders that Nokia released back in February all over the whole thing even though both devices are simply works of an artist/designer done in a few days for Mobile World Congress to show how Nokia’s future Windows Phone handsets could look like. Microsoft’s future Natural Language Query unveiled. Speech recognition API for Windows Phone 7 in the works

Microsoft’s Tellme division has unveiled its future plans regarding the upcoming Natural Language Query speech recognition technology that the company is working on with the Xbox/Kinect, Windows, Windows Phone. As of right now Tellme only used for relatively simple speech search queries and commands that usually don’t involve more that a few rods and simple voice to text translation (as currently available in Windows Phone 7 Mango and other Microsoft products like windows 7, Kinect etc).

Tellme’s future speech recognition system should allow users to naturally talk to their phones with a more integrated system that should interact seamlessly with the users social & business connections, personal preferences, know his intent, his likes and dislikes.
