Nokia and Microsoft sign definitive agreement ahead of schedule. First device still expected this year

Microsoft and Nokia have jointly announced today that they have signed the definitive agreement ahead of schedule and that work is underway to get the first Nokia windows Phone 7 handset out this year followed by volume shipment in 2012. Additionally it seems like the MS powered Nokia branded Ovi Store will become a hub that leverages the Windows Marketplace infrastructure. Developers will be able to use it to offer Symbian, S40, Windows Phone apps in one place (and I guess that the WP7 apps will also automatically appear in the MS Marketplace).
