Fan made Windows Phone 7 ad looks nicer than Microsoft’s

Windows phone 7′s marketing and ad campaign clearly isn’t the best thing around (besides the latest Samsung Focus TV ad released last week). Where’s the fixed 7008 Windows Phone 7 update for Samsung devices? Third update coming in April?

More than a week has passed since the very first Windows Phone 7 update has been pushed to end users in a staged roll out that unfortunately didn’t end up to be as smooth as envision by Microsoft. French website Smartphonefrance seems to have gotten in touch with Orange who told them that as of right now the 7008 has been put on hold for the Samsung devices until the fix is found and on the LG Optimus 7 (Orange is apparently still waiting for Microsoft to clarify the situation).

Verizon has been extensively testing it prior to the OS’s launch in October and also had a couple of its branded applications appear in the Marketplace more than two months ago.
