Microsoft Windows Phone 7 MWC Keynote announced

Well, that took a while but Microsoft has finally sent invites for there MWC Windows Phone 7 keynote which is scheduled to take place on Monday 14th at 4PM local time. Once again I’ll be there to go hands on with the goodies and hopefully see what’s coming next for Windows Phone 7. Steve Ballmer’s speech will probably be broadcast live at the official Mobile World Congress website.

It will be really sad if they have the keynote and all they talk about is copy and paste. I actually think they should keep a low profile unless they have something really stunning to announce, otherwise they will be drowned in the sea of android devices sure to be announced.

Unless the WP7 Nokia rumors turn out to be true…

But even then, we wont see a handset for a while and its no consolation to current users who have to deal with the bugs that are present now. So there needs to be more for the platform as a whole, not just Nokia coming onboard as another OEM.

They better role out that update before Monday. Hopefully they’ll address the shortcomings of Office Mobile as well (it’s pretty useless as is).
