According to UK carrier 3, the Samsung Omnia 7 is scheduled to launch on October 21st (and packs a 4″ Super-AMOLED display) with a Marketplace filled with 2000 applications. We obviously won’t hear anything official until Monday’s announcement but the Oct 21 date has been hinted at several times in the past few weeks. Get your wallets ready.

that looks like it is the place holder phone, as in the emulator. 2000 apps is not a bad start btw

    So, is Cetus Omnia 7?

Source(Engadget) says “Cetus” while this article says “Omnia 7″

Yup it’s just a PR shot (dating back to MWC in February) and I agree 2000 apps is enough for a new platform launch IMO.

Yeah. I’m personally guessing that it’s the i8700 / Omnia 7 and not the Cetus i917. But I could be wrong. So far we have only seen the Cetus in the US and the i8700 in Europe… But both handsets will probably be launched worldwide at one point.

This has to be definitely Samsung Omnia 7. I heard Samsung Cetus will now be called Samsung Focus.

And was supposed to be heading to USA and launches in November… so it could be a Hummingbird WP7 on the way??? Oh please Dear God make it happen!!
