Bye Bye Brain Tower Defense Zombie game for Windows Phone 7 unveiled

Here’s a super nice looking Windows Phone 7 game developed by a team of three (two coders and one artist) at PlainConcepts Studios. The game is based on the classic Tower Defense machanisme but ads mini-games in it to spice things up a little bit:

The game was developed with XNA using 3D for gameplay, with 5 different types of towers and 4 types of zombies including mini game for special attacks. The game combines the classic tower defence with exciting mini games and the possibility of an interactive camera during game play. The game have social integration with Facebook and Twitter to publish your scores and some screenshot of the game.

LG Optimus 7 DLNA Windows Phone 7 feature announced

LG has just made official the DLNA feature of the LG Optimus 7 Windows Phone 7 smartphone we saw demonstrated at the Berlin IFA trade-show (on an LG Panther, not E900 which is going to be called the Optimus 7 AFAIK). We first saw this Media Share application appear in the blurry LG E900 a couple of days ago but this particular device hasn’t been made official yet (it looks really nice in real life, trust me..) so LG is demonstrating the feature on the LG GW910 / Panther. Interestingly the press release claims that users will be able to playback wirelessly on their DLNA enabled TV 720P videos stored on the phones, but I guess that this only applies to videos shot with the device’s camera unless Microsoft and LG made last minute changes to the Zune desktop software.
