Nova4Phone 3D engine for Windows Phone 7

Here’s a really awesome application, developed by French devs Vertice and Bewise, that lets you import your models and scenes from any 3D software (Maya, 3DS Max, Softimage, Blender, Catia etc..) and navigate through them  directly on your Windows Phone 7 device thanks to the GPU onboard. As you will see in the videos after the break you can turn on/off several features like diffuse lighting, speculars, etc all that in real time. Check it out now:

Microsoft announces Xbox Live games and Titles for Windows Phone 7: Ilomilo, Halo, Crackdown and many more!

As previously expected Microsoft has finally announced a whole roster of Xbox Live game titles for Windows Phone 7 at GamesCom in Germany today! Yes Ilomilo is here, The Harvest and even Halo! This is huge folks and exactly what Microsoft had to do to gain market-share this fall when the platform finally launches. There’s a whole lot of AAA titles announced the press release and probably more to come from many third part developers from around the world. Check out the video demos posted below followed by the full press release:

LG on track to release its first Windows Phone 7 handset in October

Contrary to the popular belief that LG was going to ship its first Windows Phone 7 (which I later corrected after getting in contact with LG’sPR) the south Korean company is said to be on track to launch the first WP7 device in October in Europe. The first handset will sport a 3.8″ screen and no hardware keyboard which means that it will either be the LG C900 or LG E900. LG will then launch the first device in the US in November ( with hardware keyboards similar to the  LG Panther GW910). The LG Windows Phone 7device will be part of the Optimus line of smartphone along side the company’s Android Offerings.
