LG Panther / GW910 Windows Phone 7 phone Hands-on video

For those of you (me included) who can’t get enough Windows Phone 7 action especially when it’s on the LG Panther / GW910 here’s a 5 minutes long hands-on video shot at the Microsoft Benelux Windows Phone Get Together event last week. The first part of the video was already included in the video I posted 2 days ago but the rest is totally new and you will see a bit of the Zune Hub, Pictures Hub and settings. I’m must say that the screen looks really vibrant and crisp hopefully it won’t take long before we get some video playback action (You may have noticed in a previous video that the demo device was loaded with 720P files..). TangoFX Windows Phone 7 IPTV application

Contrary to what the naysayers may say the Windows Phone 7 platform is becoming a hit with developers. Sure some of the big names like Skype, Mozilla aren’t on board yet because of the current lack of some APIs and Native access but a wast majority of the well known dev houses and some upcoming startups aren’t afraid to bet on Microsoft’s mobile OS. Singaporean company Above Solutions, makers of TangoFX; a context aware Interactive HD service that provides live and on-demand cinematic experiences for viewers to watch shows/movies/videos anywhere, anytime and on any screen (mobile, PC, Kiosks, and HDTV) has announced the development of a Windows Phone 7 application a few days ago:

Android 2.2 on the Nokia N900

It’s been a while since I’ve posted about the Nokia N900 bu this doesn’t mean that the Maemo community isn’t active, especially the NITDroid crew who’s been working on making Android functional on Nokia’s Ă¼ber smartphone.
