Samsung Galaxy S vs iPhone 4 display video comparison

Here’s a pretty good display comparison between the Samsung Galaxy S and the iPhone 4. Contrary to  Engadget’s stuff this one isn’t insanely zoom-in so you can see how both handsets look like fom a normal viewing distance. The colors are definitely richer on the Super AMOLED and the aspect ratio of the screen makes up for the slightly lower PPI and PenTile Matrix. Check it out after the break and make sure to watch it in 1080p:

Anche se per lingua italiana non è poi così difficile.

    LOL

SuperAMOLED display is amazing!!! I’m holding down my wallet until I see what Samsung and HTC come up with their WP7 phones. If not, I’m gonna go with Samsung Galaxy S.

Wow… I’m coming from the [biased] Engadget comparison where they basically zoomed in the screens just to see pixel count rather than quality. This is a true comparison. Look. At. Those. Colors.!

@LOLer: the reviewer in this video actually says he prefers the iPhone display, because the colors on the Galaxy S are not natural and way too saturated. I know that to a layman the more saturated the better, but it’s not actually better if the colors are distorted.

@Bogdan right on. that’s why u get heavily saturated consumer cameras for the lay people. Pro DSLRs tend to have accurate color, which is less saturated than their consumer camera counterparts
