The HTC Liberty shows up in AT&T testing video

Looks like AT&T leak the still unannounced HTC Liberty by mistake (or not?) in an official video posted today on YouTube. The video details the different steps of Android devices testing at AT&T Labs:

Dante Martin, Product Manager at AT&T for Android devices, provides a sneak peek at the testing process at AT&T labs. Check out the latest Android device, in the testing phase, as the AT&T Technical Acceptance team runs the device, applications and advanced technology through multiple scenarios before it’s released to the public. This testing allows the team to troubleshoot issues and integrate the new device with the AT&T network. All of these efforts contribute to the launch date and lead to a positive consumer experience.

The HTC Liberty shows up at 1:56 and several times later near the end of the video. Check out the video after the break:

Nokia shows off HDMI and bluetooth capabilities of the Nokia N8

Nokia has just posted part 3 of their ongoing Nokia N8 overview videos. This time the focus is on the multi-media player which features a Cover-Flow like UI (also similar to the one on the HTC HD2) that doesn’t seem to suffer from the sub-par performances that we have seen in previous videos (new Firmware?). Next discuss the ability to connect the handset to an HD TV via the HDMI connector and the bluetooth support which enables the user to control and navigate the phone with a BT keyboard. Video after the break:

Samsung Galaxy S review

Just found out that Mobile01 posted a gigantic review of the Samsung Galaxy S a little while ago. Unfortunately it’s in Chinese so Google’s translator will be you savior here. the Samsung Galaxy S is a real winner according to the review thanks to all of the multimedia features like 720P video recording, HDMI out, native Divx support and DNLA etc.. The S5PC110A01 Chipset is also praised for its awesome performances especially when it comes to playing back 720P videos or rendering webpages.

But now let’s talk about the Super AMOLED screen; according to the reviewer the panel on the Galaxy S is the best thing he has ever seen and that it’s hard to go back after using it for a little while.

Motorola Droid 2 specifications and live video

Looks like we finally know everything about the Motorola Droid 2, thanks to a new leak that reveals the final specifications of the handset and a short video of the device in action (the boot up sequence). Let’s start with the Droid 2 specifications:

-Android 2.1
-3.7″ screen
-750MHz OMAP processor
-Wi-Fi tethering
-8GB internal
-8GB SD card preinstalled
-Updated keyboard
-5MP camera
-New version of Motoblur
-No HDMI port
-No front facing camera

It’s unfortunate to see that the Motorola Droid 2 lacks an HDMI port even though it has nearly the same specifications as the Motorola ROI aka Motorola XT720 which features the same TI OMAP 3440 coupled with an 8 Mpix camera capable of shooting 720P videos. Check out the video after the break:
