HTC HD2 1.66 Rom now available globaly. Fixes majority of the bugs

The 1.66 Rom for the HTC HD2 that was released last week on HTC’s South Asia site is now available globally so you can now head over to your localised support page and download it (if you have an non-branded retail HD2). I’ve been using it for more than five days and can happily report that the majority of the bugs I’ve talked about earlier are now fixed. No more SMS-stuck in the outbox, pinch-to-zoom no works all the time same for the volume overlay etc (they were all related to each other it seems).

There is actually one more bug which haven’t resolved since the previous Rom.

The problem is related to Audio Booster. In fact, there is many discussion about this problem but it seems no solution has been found.

    Daou,

It is actually annoying for those who are music fans. I think this little thing HTC would lost people’s attention who care so much about audio quality.

I do appreciate if Mobiletechworld would do something with HTC.

    Thanks,

The only solution i found with the Audio Booster issue is after selecting your EQ, don’t press done but press the home button instead and it keeps the setting for all songs.

i don’t find the “press home button” as the solution for audio booster problem. i just don’t close the audio booster so it still activated
