HTC changes the design of the HTC HD2 car Kit

According to online retailer DeviceWire, HTC has decided to change the HTC HD2 car kit. As you can see in the picture above it no longer looks like the original design (I can’t seem to figure out how it exactly attaches now). Old car kit:
