As we all expected, Verizon just announced the HTC Imagio (Whitestone aka XV6975) today. The Wndows Mobile 6.5 smartphone should be availble on October 6 as rumored earlier with support for Verizon’s V Cast mobile TV thanks to Qualcomm’s MediaFLO. It will also have V Cast Music support via Rhapsody. The HTC Imagio will be available online on October 6, 2009 for $199.99 with a 2-year contract, after a $100 mail-in rebate. The Imagio will be available in Verizon Wireless retail locations starting on October 20.
