SteveBVC
Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer just finished his keynote during the company’s Venture Capital Summit where he said some interesting things about Windows Mobile 7 according to several tweets submitted during his speech:

Here:

Ballmer says they screwed up with Windows Mobile. Wishes they had already lauched WM7. They completely revamped the team.

and here:

Ballmer re: poor execution in Windows Mobile: “we’ve pumped in some new talent and said ‘This will not happen again’”

Yeah, I have to agree with Ballmer, to bad, and the Zune Team did the same thing with dropping all non-US support to “test” their 3rd product in the States only for a year, as well as dropping Zune support in Canada which has or rather used to have Zune support.

I hope someone gets Ballmer to give a nice long talk to the States kiss ass Zune Team, they also don’t want to give it 3rd party app support for some reason as well.

Cmon guys every other MSFT product has shipped world wide after its first good run in the States, & they were younger teams, Zune is almost 4 years old, who the heck is screwing up on the Zune Team with decisions.

At least I’ll get Natal when it launches, heck even “Courier” the first of its kind will launch to non-US countries in it first year.
