Great blog post Phil.
Microsoft is indeed in a hard place now when it comes to mobile browsers. So far IE Mobile on WinMo 6.5 doesn't look impressive at all (due to the hardware or software?). What's strnge is that the Zune HD browser (http://tinyurl.com/ouyxgm & http://tinyurl.com/p7okxh ) which is supposed to be based on IE Mobile looks 100x better (than IE Mobile on WM). I guess that we will have to wait t'ill Windows Mobile 7 launches to see how Microsoft is going to defend its self. For now Opera Mobile 9.7 is pretty good on WM phones.
