The much anticipated augmented reality Layar app is now available through the Android Market. You can download it directly to your android phone now and take it for a spin. Engadget noticed that their seems to be some aiming problems which are probably hardware related (Google Sky exhibits the same issues).

Augmented reality is going to be the next “big thing” in the coming months/years and don’t be surprised if it’s fully part/integrated through Windows Mobile 7’s Bing Search in the Future. Take a look at Bill Gates latest CES Keynote in 2008 where he demos an Augmented reality device/service syncing all the date through a mesh (Live Mesh?)…

Yup me too. Unfortunately I only have an iPhone 3G (no digital compass)
Actually it is on the iPhone now, as of this writing.
yes it is on the iphone but will only work properly if you have the a digital compass IE 3gs or 4g iphone
